Where to Ride Your Kawasaki Teryx® KRX™ this Winter

Dec. 4 2019 Miscellaneous By ___

Your Kawasaki Teryx KRX was built for tough riding and thrilling adventures. That doesn’t have to stop just because it’s gotten a little colder and there’s some snow on the ground. Outfit your model to better handle the cold weather and then check out some of the OHV trails that are open year-round. We’ve listed some of the most popular places below, but you might have your own favorite spot that we’d love to hear about. Stop by Cool Springs Powersports in Franklin, Tennessee, to swap ideas on places to ride this winter. We welcome all those from Nashville, Spring Hill, and Columbia.

Winter Upgrades

Some of those upgrades we mentioned will help you fight the frigid cold. Remember that once the wind picks up and you get moving, a relatively mild winter day can feel like the coldest night. If your Kawasaki Teryx KRX doesn’t already have them, getting a cover or a windshield can help protect you from this wind.

If you’ve decided to go riding in the snow, then ask about snow or winter tires. These are designed to give you more traction in slick conditions. Keep in mind that this only goes so far. You’ll still need to slow down when necessary and take turns a little more carefully than you might on a dirt path.

Brimstone® Recreation

To the east, you’ll find Brimstone® Recreation, a year-round, all-encompassing recreational experience that provides over 300 miles of OHV trails, as well as camping accommodations and unforgettable experiences. They’ve built their outdoor adventure on over 19,000 acres of Appalachian wilderness, so not only will you get to enjoy exciting trails and thrilling adventures, but you’ll get to do it in the heart of one of the most breathtaking regions in the country. There’s a trail for all riding levels, making this the perfect location to bring your friends and family.

You also won’t be far from more populated areas, so if you need a break from the ruggedness, check out local eateries, recreational activities, and even the Scott County Museum.

Ride Royal Blue Resort

For a unique and welcoming riding experience, try the Ride Royal Blue Resort. This is more than just a way to enjoy riding your Teryx KRX all year long. They also host a number of events that you can partake in, or you can ask about how bringing a large group of people for some fun with extended family and friends. We’re sure you’ll love this place so much that you’ll make it a habit to come back time and time again.

Windrock Park

Offering the best off-road trails in the south, Windrock Park is the perfect place to go when you’re looking for a wide range of riding opportunities for the whole family. They host a number of fun events and even rent out powersports vehicles if you haven’t gotten your hands on your Kawasaki Teryx KRX.
